Bitcoin & BTM FAQ
A Bitcoin ATM, or BTM, is a physical machine that allows you to buy or sell Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies using cash. Our BTMs are designed to make your transactions quick, easy, and secure.
To use a Bitcoin ATM, you’ll need a digital wallet to store your Bitcoin. You can buy Bitcoin by scanning your wallet’s QR code, inserting cash into the machine, and confirming the purchase. To sell Bitcoin, you’ll send Bitcoin from your wallet to the BTM and withdraw cash. Check out Bluewallet.io to get started for mobile or web.
No account is required to use our Bitcoin ATMs. All you need is a digital wallet for Bitcoin transactions. Some transactions may require a simple verification process to comply with regulatory standards.
The fees for using a Bitcoin ATM vary depending on the transaction. We strive to keep our fees competitive. You can find the specific fees for buying and selling at our BTMs displayed on the machine.
A paper wallet is a physical copy of your Bitcoin public and private keys, often printed as QR codes alongside their alphanumeric strings. Printed by our BTMs, paper wallets offer a form of cold storage—keeping your Bitcoin offline and reducing exposure to online threats. However, like all forms of storage, they must be handled with care to safeguard your assets. Check Bitcoin Basics to learn more.
If you encounter any issues or have questions, please contact our customer support via call, text, email, or chatbot. Contact information is listed on the BTM top right corner. Provide details of the transaction, including the BTM location, transaction ID, and a description of the problem. We’re here to help resolve issues promptly.
Bitcoin ATMs offer convenience, privacy, and immediate transactions. Unlike online exchanges, BTMs allow you to buy or sell Bitcoin directly with cash, providing a tangible and straightforward way to manage your Bitcoin. BTMs are a vital part of the Bitcoin ecosystem and the industry is expected to grow to $16.85 Billion in 2033.
Transactions at our BTMs are completed swiftly, allowing you to receive cash or Bitcoin right away. On occasion, the Bitcoin Network might experience congestion, potentially delaying transactions up to 30 minutes. Rest assured, you’ll be able to see the transaction confirmation directly in your mobile Bitcoin wallet, keeping you informed every step of the way.
While our primary service is for Bitcoin transactions we plan to offer other crypto currencies when government regulations set a standard for us to adopt. As of now we only offer Bitcoin.
